Transportation by Train from Narita to Tokyo Irene Lee
As a family of five, travelling around Japan would have been a huge expense for us – starting with the journey from Narita to Tokyo – so here’s an alternative to the bus and the expensive bullet train. Take the train to UENO station instead of Tokyo station. UENO is also a major artery to the main train lines, so it’s really no different from the massive Tokyo train station.
Very yummy tempura menu featuring 6 to 8 dishes. Freshly made-to-order. You must try the eel and the specially made octopus cake served in green tea soup with rice! It's always full at lunch, so better go early. At dinner, there is a more deluxe menu with higher prices.

100 Yen Shops Ada Chan , Assistant Online Marketing Manager
100 yen shops (in Japanese 百円ショップ hyaku-en shoppu) are all over Japan and you can easily find one in the capital city. You can get everything there -- from food to cosmetics, toys to clothing, stationery to housewares. One of the largest 100 Yen shops in central Tokyo is Daiso Harajuku in Takeshita Dori, just a few steps from Harajuku Station.

Loved Lost in Translation? -- Tokyo is true to this film and the bar is the place to go and reinact a Bill Murray scene. My tip: avoid Japanese businessmen and Japanese whisky, both of which will give you a headache.

Good 'Family Restaurants' Hisao Minoguchi , Manager Direct Sales & Operation of Cathay Holidays Japan
There are many restaurant chains in Japan, so-called Family Restaurants. Royal Host, Jonathan, Gust, and Denny's are just a few, most of which are open 24/7. Ordering at these restaurants is very easy -- all of them have colourful menus and you can just point at the picture of what you want to eat. Pricing is around 1000 Yen for a set meal, and many have cosy tables.
Odaiba Emi Sugimoto , Senior Sales Planning Agent
Odaiba is one of the most famous sightseeing spots in Tokyo, with the beautiful bay and the Rainbow Bridge. There are also shopping malls, a three-storey game arcade, museums such as The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, the Panasonic Center and more. Also visit the Oedo Onsen Monogatari, a hot-spring theme park whose architecture imitates that of the Edo period. Or enjoy the spectacular view from one of the world's largest Ferris wheels.
